Endeavour High School, in Hull, England,
was once a failing school in the third most
impoverished ward in the United Kingdom
but has undergone enormous changes since
implementing restorative practices. In this
video, Endeavour’s students, who hail from 32
different countries, and its staff, talk about how
restorative practices has made their school a
place where respect and safety are the norm.
Hull, UK, led by the Hull Centre for Restorative Practices
and the International Institute for Restorative Practices,
is endeavoring to become a “restorative city,” where
everyone who works with children and youth will employ
restorative practices.
“Restorative practices has solved lots of
problems. There’s no bullying anymore because
things get sorted out between kids.”
