Supporting promising individuals in financial need.

Impact Scholarships

Impact Scholarships provide full tuition for new graduate students who demonstrate promise for greatly impacting their communities. This is a competitive scholarship based on three criteria:

  • Ability to make an impact, based on your commitment to and influence within your community.
  • The community you seek to serve faces hardships, experiences high needs, and/or has historical disadvantages.
  • Demonstrated and expressed financial need to pursue your studies at the IIRP.

To create a relevant field of study we value the experiences and perspectives of international students. Studying at the IIRP Graduate School does not require travel and student visas to attend. The IIRP does not offer student visas to the U.S. Our program is designed to allow students to continue their studies from anywhere in the world without disruption.

Applicants must be accepted into our Master of Science program to apply for the Impact Scholarship, but the scholarship is only applicable to new students seeking a Master of Science in Restorative Practices or Master of Science in Restorative Practices plus Thesis Option.

  • The deadline to submit a Master of Science degree application to be considered for the scholarship is June 1.
The deadline to submit all supporting documents for the degree application is July 31. This process may take an extended time, especially for international applicants. International applicants must complete the process for degree evaluation and, in some cases, language equivalency tests. These applicants are encouraged to begin the process early.

  • The application deadline for Impact Scholarships is October 1. An essay is required to complete the application.
Applications will be made available to newly admitted students on September 1. Applicants will indicate their interest and need for an Impact Scholarship on the Master of Science degree application.

  • Scholarship recipients will be notified by October 15. Up to six Impact Scholarships will be awarded.

Please Note: All Impact Scholarship recipients must submit their application for admission to the Master of Science degree in its entirety by July 31. Impact Scholarship recipients are expected to enroll by November 15 for the following spring term courses.

Tuition for one course will be awarded in memory of Shawn, a young man who overcame adversity with courage and determination. The scholarship recipient will also be someone who expresses financial need to support their studies.

The application and further details are available in your Student Portal.

  • Applications open July 1.
  • The deadline to submit your application is August 1.

Unlike most schools, we do not charge fees for course registration, graduation and transcripts. Transparent Tuition means there are no hidden costs.

All our graduate programs are fully accredited. We work with students who are eligible to receive tuition support from their employers.

Fees

We have eliminated unnecessary application fees, annual student fees, graduation fees and transcript fees. Some students may complete their studies without ever paying a single fee. We do have three fees:

  • Late registration fee - $25.00
  • Course withdrawal fee - $50.00
  • Interest-Free Payment Plan start-up charge - $75.00

A zero-interest payment plan.

We offer financial aid to all students who are admitted to either the Master of Science degree or Graduate Certificate program in the form of an interest-free line of credit with low monthly payments and zero interest. While many graduate schools administer loan programs, we have simplified the process by offering the same affordable plan to all students.

Benefits include:

  • Zero interest

Admitted students enjoy the added benefit that registration fees for professional development events associated with blended courses, including conferences and symposia, are rolled into the total program cost.

If you begin by pursuing a Graduate Certificate, you can choose to continue for a Master of Science degree by simply extending the plan with the same monthly payment.
