Les is a pioneering practitioner and trainer in this field with hands-on experience of programme implementation and the development and delivery of restorative conferencing training for the criminal justice sector in the UK for over a decade. Since taking on his IIRP role in 2000 he has been involved in initiatives to bring restorative practices to communities, schools, workplaces and the looked-after children's sector. Les has been actively involved in the development of "Good Practice Guidelines" and the resulting National Occupational Standards for Restorative Practices in the UK.
