Why Me?

‘Why me? Victims for Restorative Justice’ officially launched on May 13, 2008 in the UK

‘Why me?’ is a new group formed by and for victims of crime who have benefited from their experience of restorative justice (RJ) and want others to profit from the same opportunity. ‘Why me?’ is chaired by Will Riley, a victim of aggravated burglary and later an enthusiastic RJ conference supporter. Aided in its start-up stage by the Restorative Justice Consortium (RJC) in the UK, ‘Why me?’ aims to raise awareness of RJ by speaking to the media, giving talks and providing real-life experiences as case studies. For further information contact Harriet Bailey of the RJC at info@why-me.org.
