Skills for Justice, in partnership with the Restorative Justice Consortium, the Office for Criminal Justice Reform, Norfolk Constabulary and the Association of Panel Members announces a programme to pilot a new qualification in restorative practices: an opportunity for practitioners to gain formal recognition for their skills in restorative practices. Both paid workers and volunteers are encouraged to sign up. Funding may be available to take part in this pilot. Two information workshops are scheduled, 1st April in London and 20th April in Birmingham.

Restorative Justice Consortium looking to hire a director

The Restorative Justice Consortium, the national voice for restorative practices in England and Wales, is looking to hire a director. We have two key roles — to support the work of our members — practitioners, trainers and service providers — and to promote restorative practice in the media, with the public and with government.

The deadline for applications is 16th December 2009.
Interviews will take place on Monday 21st December in London.
